Agreed. He did ask the right questions and he is absolutely right that we should not critisize people simply for being wealthy.

I think the average person who puts some thought into the issue knows that the issue is not wealth but the system set up to make those people even more wealthy at the expense of everyone else and some people want to increase this imbalance even further so they frame the argument only in terms of wealth.

Ingenious strategy I guess.....if there is an argument I cannot win, change the subject being disputed......

Wow! I guess some don't understand the real meaning of what Jay is saying. I'd never been a real fan of this man until I saw an extensive interview on him. Now, my whole perspective of him changed, because no-one gave him a thing. He went out there to get for a promise he made to his mom to take care of her. Read between the lines of the message he's attempting to deliver! He's not the enemy!

I agree with you to a point. You are absolutely right that that's how he got his money in the beginning, off the misery of others. And believe me, I have very little sympathy for drug dealers (and I'm not talking about the dude who sells weed). Thing is though, we all do what we know and some of us do better when we know better. I see him as the latter.

Even his music has evolved. This is a dude who went from "big pimpin" to "excuse me miss," from "d'evils" to "beach chair." So I guess long *** I believe we *** hate people, if there is something to be hated we should hate what they do and if they are not doing it anymore we don't have to totally dismiss what they did in the past but we should also admire their evolution.
