Why? They should have just let him resign when he offered to. They're trying to make it look like they're actually doing something but they're not. Who doesn't let someone quit just so they can fire them?

He was on paid leave before he got axed so it seems the travesty of police officers being paid to do wrong continues. IMO That entire dept needs to be dismantled.
