When are they not disrespectful towards our president? I'm not a big Obama fan or supporter but everyone deserves respect, I didn't like Bush either and he still deserved respect. Obama is one of the most hated and disrespected presidents ever. Why? I almost voted for McCain until I realized how disrespectful he was when he kept cutting President Obama off during the debate. That's disgusting how can someone not be ashamed or embarrassed by acting like this. Republicans always complain about immigrants taking their jobs but I've never seen one actually clean a hotel room, these are the same people that hire them to clean their houses. Is it a big issue because now they can legally work and don't have to be paid $4 a day changing your little *** kids diapers?

If you review this thread and any political thread, you will see one person and one person only on them, attacking, speaking in sentence fragments, and calling names. That person is dagreat1 who keeps getting banned due to his psychotic behavior. He scares anyone who doesn't worship Obama away. Heck, he even scared me away for a long time.
The political threads are slow because they reflect most Black people's attitude toward politics: apathetic. 2008 was a rare moment in time when we as Blacks came together for a cause...to elect a half-Black president. We achieved that goal and he turned out to be a failure. So we, as a people, have gone back to not caring. Obama has lost his Black base and it will have an impact on the election. I don't know who is going to win but it won't be an easy fight.

I think I remember things differently back in 2008. I remember the black threads were jumping off then, but I remember most people on here were against Obama calling him a puppet, working for some secret society, and the Anti-Christ. I remember it was about 50/50 for and against him. But I agree with you in that African-Americans are just not that excited about Obama like they were in 2008.

Hi Secret Voice, Dagreatdumbone is sickening. He won't let people voice their opinions. He calls names and disrespects women. It is over the top and way too much. It's gotten to the point that some of us just post our opinions and leave the thread completely for that day. It doesn't matter. He will claim that we are all the same person and that Obama is only losing one vote. He just can't face the fact that Obama had disappointed voters and they want him gone. I personally think he has a crush on Obama but I'll leave that alone.

@still, Obama got lucky. I remember when he got into politics in Chicago. The right crowd pushed him forward. Had he done his seven years as a US senator, I think he would have been a better president. He quite simply did not have enoug experience to be the president and so he has made some crucial mistakes. Being a team player is important in America. Obama is not a teamplayer and that is why he is so hated and disrespected. He does what ever he wants...whenever he wants. Why did he come out in support of *** marriage when they were going to vote for him anyway? Why is he essentially pushing the Dream Act. Every move he makes is for votes. Americans arent stupid. They realize this. If he gets back into office he will legalize *** marriage and push forward his socialist agenda. He will be uncontrollable...
Bottom line...Obama ran on the fact that he would repair the economy and it hasnt been fixed. He said he would end the war yet we still have troops dying everyday in Afghanastan. Obama is blowing smoke and looks desperate by getting involved in the *** marriage issue and immigration. Real Americans want jobs and he hasnt created them. Just like unemployed Americans cast their votes against John McCain, they will vote against Obama.

This executive order is gonna hurt Obama I feel. This reporter is just the start. He can now say he was just standing up for Americans (which is what he already said). Romney can now tell Latinos that he is for their plight, while Conservative and Republican operatives whip the people up into a frenzy while Romney keeps his hands clean. Especially when it could lead to other benefits such as drivers license and social security cards. Now who knows if that's true, but as we saw with Health Care reform, it doesn't have to be true, just has to be said enough times for people to believe it.
Of course it's going to hurt him. In a way, he is taking care of people who are not American citizens. People who have worked here illegally and not paid taxes. WTF! When is he going to stand up for the average American. He is concerned with the plight of *** and immigrants which are the minority not majority of the population. It seems like Obama knows he's going down so he's just throwing anything out there.

I don't blame Obama for the economy because things were so bad that I never thought it would turn around in his first term. I think most people realize this. When faced with a fight against the Republicans (Healthcare Reform, Bush tax cuts, etc.) he has always backed down and let them dictate the fight. My only problem with this is that Obama will come off looking weak right before the elections. His issue with this reporter is not a good start for him. He should have checked this clown. This issue is already dying down because nobody even cared that the President was disrespected because I'm sure that they felt the President was wrong for not only going around Congress, but not even taking questions. I have been positive with the job President Obama has done, but the way he is running his campaign is disappointing me. His support for *** rights and now this, reeks of desperation, everyone knows it. Even the Latinos say that Obama is using them for votes on this issue. If Obama does not start laying out a definite platform in dealing with the economy he will not win reelection and then we'll be stuck with Mitt Romney, which will really *** me off.

I feel you man. Some definitely come off suspect on many levels. I will say this though. Some brothas and sistas do not identify with the plight of minorities as a whole. I have seen this. Its almost where they seem to have an attitude like "hey if I am successful, then other minorities have no excuse." The couple of brothas I've actually interacted with like this also had that "non threatening" come off. You know what I mean. Brothas tend to be perceived as threatening if they aint smiling all the time or tapdancing in the workplace for example. Almost cant be yourself. Meanwhile others can talk about there gun collection everyday and *** with no repercussions.
