SoPompous: GOOD BECAUSE EURO CONSERVATISIM HAS FAILED!

bklynkey718

I agree sopompous, why elect a man who vow to hire 60,000 teachers or raise minimum wages or even lower the retirement age from 62 to 60, France citizens are soo stupid. "sarcasm"

bklynkey718

@sopompous maybe you honestly don't understand why France elected a socialist, so i wont bash your ignorances. I'll help you out a little, Hollande will implement what's currently seen as the only viable solution to the continuing problems associated with the meltdown brought on by unbridled capitalism: stubbornly high unemployment and low demand. He correctly proposes having those least adversely affected contribute more to fixing the problem they brought on, rather than either insisting those least capable and most affected shoulder the burden themselves, or saying he doesn’t care what happens to them, as Romney says here. Hollande also correctly proposes to unite the people of France by acknowledging that everyone has an equal claim to dignity and respect. Is that a little clearer now?

Very good to see intelligent debating here on a REAL issue. Totally cosign though AfanA!

"Frabce", MTO? Really? Congratulations to Mr. Hollande, and now maybe there'll be real economic shakeups in Europe. Iceland took the right path, Ireland and the rest of the eurozone the wrong one.

As AfanA says, euroconservatism has failed.

Now they need to follow the prescriptions of the great John Maynard Keynes, which have worked in the past!

TheOnlyGod.

France & Sarkosy were never "euro-conservatives".

During the "cold war" the "western governments" believed that France would likely to be the 1st western government to embrace communism because of its strong left-socialist society. This is also one of the reasons Hitler invaded France (Hitler was socialist but hated communism).

Sarkosy is not a "native" frenchman he is a immigrant from eastern Europe, the former communist "Soviet Union". Sarkosy only fashioned himself after Reagan (wearing cowboy boots & living on a ranch) & co-opted capitalism to become a leader in the "west" (France).

Mr. Hollande promised...more teachers...more social security...with a failing economy & skyrocketing debt.

Mr. Hollande...ask Mr. Obama how well those promises worked for him.

Mr. Obama is now in a 50/50 fight for a 2nd term against a man that many say is "out-of-touch"<<<That says it all.

A quick review of MTO line up in the black and had to say hello @bklynkey718, always a pleasure to read you my dear, your comment and point well said.

Who knows, maybe Hollande's win could have some influence over the November's election. After all, people will be left with questions as to whether the Republicans European Austerity style of government that ended Sarkozy’s presidency is better for them. I strongly believe that while capitalism may be the best method for economic growth and expansion, it is a fact that it produces more recurring cycles of recession and stagnation as evident by the Bush style of government and under Sarkozy, unemployment was up 10%. Now, the bigger question is what came first? Socialism or Capitalism, I mean Adam Smith for Capitalism and Karl Marx for socialism - I’m too lazy to find out who was born first, LOL. But, most will say socialism because Jesus was one and since capitalism started more in the 19th century, Socialism jumps to the head of the class. What the heck? All every one want is what people like Plato and Thomas Moore had to offer i.e. a Utopian Socialism and to hell with Ayn Rand Russian racist, sociopathic Objectivism (hear that Paul Ryan?), LOL.

what's up Great1. Have a good *** you two
