I get what you're saying and I'm not trying to nickpick but, that's not exactly a belief. As long as you're a citizen of the United Fakes of America, Obama's your president. No matter how much you dislike him, he's our president.
I can understand West views and those who do not support West views, BUT I do think West needs to stop with the personal attacks on Obama. And really, it is not exclusively Obama's fault that he has not been able to accomplish more for the middle class and low-income Americans. Republicans, no matter how outrageous their policies are, always have unity within the party. Go with the party line or be ostracized. Democrats have not shown this unwavering unity within their own party. I realize because of this, Obama has not been able to be as effective as he could have been. If all the Democrats had come together and voted for the public option, it would have probably gone through. West needs to stop placing blame solely on Obama and realize there are some racist Democratic senators and congressmen/women that should also be held accountable for their failure to support the president and policies that would benefit black Americans.
Also, we are all not pure black ... or African. Obama might be closer to white than many of us, but if your ancestors have been here over a hundred years, like most blacks, then you're also not pure black. There is a reason why most African- Americans do not look like Africans, and that's because most of us have European blood in us.

I did answer my own question because that is my belief. But again, Obama is no different than any other politician. He's failed on some issues, and been a success on others. But when people say he is drinking, he is partying, he is on vacation, he hasn't done anything, that isn't true at all. He has done some things and have had some successes. If you're going to acknowledge the failures, then at least acknowledge the successes.
