November 8. Black celebrity couples used to never get caught up in nasty divorce battles. But that seems to be changing. Last week Chris Rock shocked fans when he filed to divorce his wife Malaak. And now MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Regina King has just filed to divorce her husband of 10 years, Ian Alexander (pictured below). While details of the divorce are still sketchy, a source close to the actress tells MediaTakeOut.com that the marriage was plagued with problems. According to the tipster who asked to remain anonymous, "there was drugs and abuse in that marriage ... it needed to end." The source adds, "they've been apart for a while, and Regina is doing fine." And it looks like the lovely actress is finally moving on with her life. MediaTakeOut.com visited Regina's myspace page and noticed that she now classifies herself as "single".
