IT'S INTERESTING WHAT SOME LOWER TIER BLACK CONSIDER "OLD" WHITE ARTISTS ARE ALLOWED TO COLLECT CHECKS INTO ADVANCED AGE BUT "BLACKIE" ALWAYS HAS SOME SLICK SH*T TO SAY ABOUT SOMEONE WHO IS CLEARLY IN THEIR EARLY 30S AS BEING OLD AND READY FOR RETIREMENT. NO ONE IS TELLING THE ROLLING STONES TO RETIRE.....WE AT AFRONERDRADIO.COM ARE NO FANS OF NO TALENT ASHANTI OR HER MURDER INC PAST BUT YOU HAVE TO CALL OUT AGEISM JUST LIKE ONE WOULD COMMENT ON RACISM! STOP HAMPERING BLACK PROGRESS! AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT STOP PROMOTING NO TALENT MINSTRELS WHO CLEARLY DO NOT HAVE A FORWARD MOVING BLACK AGENDA. THE TIME OF THE MINSTREL IS OVER! WE PROMOTE URBAN ALTERNATIVE, BLACK ROCK AND AFROPUNK MUSIC.....WE HAVE TO TURN THE MADNESS AROUND!
Seasons Greetings to all our loyal listeners! It's the top of the month and that means that we're due for another Saturday GrindHouse Mashup broadcast (at 6pm EST) ! This "mash up" blurs the lines between The Comic Shoppe and Afronerd Radio when all parties are present (Daryll B., Capt. Kirk and Dburt) and they dissect all pertinent Pop, Pulp and potentially Political issues (note the alliteration!). Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620. The topics to be unpacked this week are: the highly anticipated Batman vs Superman is looking a whole lot like a Justice League film with the announcement that actress/model Gal Gadot has been cast as Wonder Woman; in more Bats vs Supes news, is the WB also considering a more "multi-ethnic" version of the film (a Black Lex Luthor?) as it relates to further casting?; our thoughts about the new Amazing Spiderman 2 trailer; director Bryan Singer affirms that X-Men: Apocalypse will be the next film after DOFP; the Terminator series returns to TV (not the Sarah Connor Chronicles, unfortunately) as well as the big screen; and speaking of TV, more speculation on Arrow and The Blacklist.
The colloquium continues with more serious fare when the team delves into the passing of South Africa's first Black president and world leader, Nelson Mandela; in popular culture, Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker also dies; a overdue Blue Area mention; will the future of Amazon include delivery drones (?) and if time permits, perhaps we'll actually get to talk about that infamous "Sharkeisha" video!
I am not an Ashanti fan b/c I think she's rude and lacks class but that red dress really
accentuate her figure and I do look forward to seeing how she does in this Lifetime
Christmas movie. With that being said MTO please take heed.
I will not be posting/visiting as frequently in 2014 for several reasons.
1. The continuous focus on booty "models" and NON celebs. I suggest you hire real
paps and start following REAL celebs for recent pictures b/c that's what MOST of
us want to see. It's sad I have to go on a gossip forum (LSA) to see recent pics of
celebrities and days later you steal those pics and cite them as your own.
2. This bootleg site is infested with tracking devices and I have to constantly run
the SuperAnti-spyware software to get rid of YOUR viruses.
3. This bootleg site constantly refreshes. Really MTO can't you hire a REAL
IT professional and get this site up to 21st century standards?
I'm sure there's more and other "supporters" can back me up but I highly suggest
you GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER FRED. Look at your post count!!! On a good day
you MIGHT get one story that has 49-50 replies when once upon a time you'd have
HUNDREDS of comments. Fix your problems STAT.
my roomate's mother-in-law makes $80 an hour on the internet. She has been fired for seven months but last month her pay was $14720 just working on the internet for a few hours. pop over here =====WWW.FB49.COM
@TallGlassH2O...You're always starting your comments with "she's getting old"....The only way you don't get old is....you gotta die young.
A day old person will get older if they live to see another day.
