: MediaTakeOut.com just received word that Kevin Gilliam, better know as Battlecat - one of the most PROLIFIC HIP HOP PRODUCERS in history suffered a MASSIVE heart attack yesterday.
Kevin is well known for producing artists such as Snoop Dogg, The Game, Xzibit and Tha Eastsidaz along with a number of other West Coast rappers. His aesthetic is a progression from the early-'90s G-Funk sound pioneered by Above the Law, characterized by fat synth bass lines and soulful keys.
Let's all say a prayer for him, we're told his condition is VERY serious.
I cant pray for him..I don't know him personally.I have a long list of people that I'm already praying for.
I don't mean to sound cold but I'm not going to follow everyone else. His family and friends will pray for him.
That's the one thing that I don't understand about religion..God allows this to happen and we are all supposed to pray for his recovery.
Is it really that easy...Does prayer really work that way?
Mto why put others face on this story.Mto is about dumb as these lil dumb as children on here making comments. I pray for everyone across the globe. You Kevin and family are in my prayers. Children any one can have a heart attack even you, healthy or not .Everyone has a number.
Battlecat is a West Coast Hip-Hop Legend and a well respected producer in the Hip-Hop community as a whole. He'll be in my prayers.
You don't have to know someone to personally pray for them. If you choose not to, keep it to yourself. You don't have to make a public announcement that you're not praying for someone. If you believe in prayer, just know that there may come a time when you may be in need of prayer, because you are in a vulnerable situation. You'll be hoping someone is actually praying for you as opposed everyone in the know of your condition to just be assuming that someone else is doing it. Think about that for a second.
