I didnt' understand the joke really, but in regard to the use of the nword don't people know there is a difference between using it in a comedy skit verses using it to degrade someone! the way krammar used it was racist! point blank, this man is doing a comedy skit, no idea what the joke was about cuz I dont' watch football, and hey some might say its racist but its part of his skit, what krammer did was out of complete anger showing his true damn colors for black people...just my point of view....
Here we go again. There's nothing to get. We Black Americans use the word very loosely and try and justify by saying it's okay for to call each other that, but as soon as a white person says it, they're racist. The change starts with us. Unfortunately, even if every Black person in the world stopped using that word, it's been around too long for it to just go away. This is not news. Get over it. As you can see, he's on stage...not in the audience. After the show he probably got on the first flight smoking back to wherever he came from.
It wasn't funny because first of all, he called out black people in the beginning of the joke so he was specifically talking about US. Then he goes on to talk about football (while still talking about blacks) and says "personal foul, acting like a nig.ger. What does a nig.ger act like and how is it funny when used as a joke to make fun of black people with such a hurtful word?
Now you know thats not a black audience. Thats why I watch everything. and surf the web alot. Becase youve gotta know what the other side is thinking about you. Man i'm tired of saying this. White people can't say the word period. I don't care if we use it...we can. It's an unwritten law that white people knew to not say it and for the most part, they obeyed it. Blacks have been saying it for over 20 years...now it's a problem with us saying it. If white comedians continue to use this negative word, they are going to start a race war at these comedy clubs. It is a shame that a lot(not all) of young black people are not upset about the use of this word. Yes, it is bad when we use it towards each other, but it is worse when someone outside our race uses it, because they know the history of it and the anger it produces among blacks that lived during those horrible times that happen not to long ago.

How can we embrace such a harsh word. I remember watching roots and they were always using the N word. If anyone can recall Richard Pryor did a stand up show in the 80's and he said he went to Africa and he said he didn't see any [EXPLETIVE] he saw black people and he vowed right there to never use the word again. Honestly I don't c what was wrong, comedians make fun of all races, blacks r not excluded. I think its not what u say but the way u say it. Not funny at all. He pointed out everything in the beginning as far as race goes...he should have thought that through. I know this guy, I grew up with him in Baltimore City of all places. He's only acting out to promote his image as a anarchist and a someone who is not afraid to say whatever he wants. All the other white boys love cause he's the only one who will say what they would love to but can't or wont for whatever reason. He's also a morning DJ on 98 Rock (98.7 WIYY) in Baltimore and he gets to say this kind of thing on the radio all the time and no one checks him becuase knows how to get as close to the line as possible without crossing it; It's in what he calls his stand-up routine that he really acts like an ass. I'm disappointed because he can actually be very funny but he falls back on typical sh!t like this (much like a lot of black comedians do a lot of weed, sex and being poor jokes). It's not even so much about race for him as much as it is pushing buttons. It is ok for blacks to use it whereas whites shouldnt. For ex if a wife calls her hubby "sweet balls" that does NOT mean its ok for a man to call that same husband that as well especially when the husband made it clear he doesnt swing that way. First off..I am a very successful black man. I use the N-word with my boys quite a bit. I personally do not find offense in the word. Let me educate many of you who don't seem to follow football closely. I hate to say it, but most excessive touchdown celebrations are by blacks. What you are not understanding is that many black people on this site and elsewhere have parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents that went through some of the stuff that we 'complain/cry' about so much. I cannot fathom the emotional and mental pain that they endured as a result of direct, blatant racism. I can't help but get upset and express my anger when someone does something like this b/c it is a reminder of what my ancestors/immediate relatives went through. So yes, I will continue to mention my ancestors whenever comments like this are said, joking or not.

I completely agree with "mrstljohnsonjr." I live in Boston and if you ride the bus or train, all the white, black, asian, and hispanic kids are calling eachother [EXPLETIVE]. The black kids make the the other races think it is okay to say this word. When I was in school, people called me that as though there was nothing wrong. But, the main people I had a problem with saying it, were the white kids. I think the word itself should be banned somehow. It will be hard, but it hurts the people who actually went through the civil rights era.
