Thats is some werid shiit. I was web surfing and they have pics of her dead in a casket in some pjs the site doesnt warn you. its like they were trying to make a joke about it . and thats just wrong. befor i saw the doc on her I thought that she was a crazy chic but she wasnt. just misuderstood.RIP LISA
THATS CRAZY GOD BLESS HER AND HER FAMILY AND ITS CRAZY HOW SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WEARING THE SEAT BELT AND NO BODY ELSE WAS AND SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DIED
WELL I GUESS FATE IT FATE
BUT WHY DID SHE HAVE TO DYE WHEN SHE WAS TRYING TO MAKE A CHANGE WITH HER LIFE
@ strongblackwoman I think she was the only one killed and the others were injured. I watched the special and it really never said it the others were killed. But that Dr. Sebi that she was visiting is known for curing diseases with herbs and stuff. Rumor was out that she had cancer for a minute.
Personally, I thought that that was DISTASTEFUL...that tape should have been given to the family for thier own private viewing ONLY NOT the general public...So what's next Anna Nicole trying to catch her last breaths before SHE died....
I don't think that was the footage from the crash that killed her. I saw pics of her laying on the ground after the crash and she did not have on the clothes you see in the video. She died with light blue Paul Frank pajamas.. the ones that have the monkey faces all over them. I doubt this was the fatal video.
I saw that docum., over the weekend on VH1 and it was kinda spooky because it's like she was fighting inner demons or something. She was very spiritual and was on a mission. I loved Lefteye because she was a dare devil and wasn't afraid of anything. This movie was actually screened in ATL by her family and friends.
I felt that had they not had the camera in there, which clearly distracted her, she might been alive today.
Hopefully people will learn from this.
This goes 4 cell ph. users too, if u r not a multi-tasker, then dont drive using or doing different things.
According to the doc the family greenlighted the footage that was shown so they are aware of it...Have to say it was spooky cause as I was watching it I was like..wait a minute, they're not actually going to SHOW the crash??!! However, as the tape progressed and nobody was saying anything I figured it out...
And as miamiblack mentioned, right above that was a link to Aaliyah's last moments the morning before HER death...had to get off the site :-(
Hey strongblackwoman!!! whassup???
But on the real...I watched it on VH1 and that girl had problems. She was on a spirtitual journey and it seems as though she wanted to die. I liked her though. I can't say that I walked away from the show knowing anymore than I did but she had a huge heart and was caring and it's a sad shame but I guess God needed her.
What site were you guys on? I did a search and I ended up on findadeath.com that had the pics and everything. It was very sad apparently the accident was so bad they had to dress her in those PJs so that when the family came to identify she was clothed. I loved Left Eye her creativity and originality was awesome. I still love her verse on waterfalls
A theory that I was thinking about after reading everything is if Left Eye intended to harm herself? This is not meant in a menacing way or anything. However a day or so before she killed a little boy that jumped in front of the car she was driving, before that incident she was saying she felt like an evil spirit was trying to kill her after the incident with the lil boy she said she felt like the spirit killed him instead of her by accident. Alot of times when people have those feelings and then begin seeking spiritual and holistic treatments they feel they have reached that place where all is well and it's time to leave. i hope in my heart that was not the case with her but in my opinion based on things of this nature happening in the past it could be logical. but we will never know for real
I saw the doc too -- it was chilling.
It seems like I am not the only one who thought she was a little off-center, but that's why she was so creative, I guess. The doc was morbid, but it's good to know finally, how all this happened...
ClassyLady1, I was thinking the same thing. I think she felt her time was up, not saying that she purposefully drove the car off the road, but I saw her driving and it seemed like she had fear in her eyes. Or maybe there's a supernatural reason that we'll never understand.
Classylady - I picked up on her take about the spirit that was following her and her theory that the spirit killed the little boy instead. I don't think she meant to do herself any harm but I do think the it weighted heavily on her (the little boy dying). I agree with "legal" in everything he/she said. I also agree with "kimkelmo" that she may have been distracted.
Did anyone else peep that the situation with Andre Rison wasn't what we all thought it was? We all thought that Lisa was crazy for setting the house on fire but there were things that precipitated the house burning. Like it never came out that he was an extremely controlling person and obviously abusive.
Saw this on VHI. Soo sad. I hate to see anyone die. Between Left Eye and Aliyah it makes you question "Why". Did anyone in the car ever explain what made her drive off the road like that? She didn't say anything, just swerved.
kysauntie & legal-
I agree with both of you. I am not saying that she INTENTIONALLY drove off the road but I think something caused her to be so serene and ready to go. Legal you are right may be something we will never know. I remember a while back they reported on Andre being abusive and she herself said it wasnt like she just went in their and said let me torch some isht. He was very selfish, controlling and abusive he came in with about 10 pairs of shoes no size 4's and she had been helping him get out of debt paying back support ad everything. I might'a tried to burn them damn shoes too....
I noticed she screamed but I hate we could not see was something in the street or what.
did you peep how she didn't say anything, smile or nothing? Just kind of looked at the person with the camera like she was contemplating something, HEAVY. Gave the camera pers on the Coke tin can and next thing you know, she drove off the road. Kind of figured that it was that 'spirit' she kept talking about may have been in the road or she was trying to get away from it.
Just watching it after a few times, you could tell something was about to happen. It's like God already had taken her into his arms. Hard to explain but just look at her face. Almost like she couldn't feel a thing, like pain free.
I watched all her tributes on YouTube.com, so friggen sad.
I saw that to it was sad she was my favorite female rapper and from the tlc the documentary was really sad its crazy how mto would put something lik tht i think tht is very disrespectful. Its amazing how left eye died but the other 6 didnt it said that when left eye was looking off she drove off and the camera turn off and the car roll over serval times and while doing that it threw left eye out...
Rest In Peace Left Eye much love
yea but aleast she is closer to god
I thought that the video was unnecessary. We know she died in a car accident, do we really need to see the details.
But for everyone, most of us are going to die in a violent death. Read Peter Nuland's book : How We Die. He talks about the physical process of dying. The book states that 25% of people die in their sleep, and 75% of the deaths are violent.
And why should this come to a surprise. If people came in the world violently (and trust me giving birth is not an easy experience) why should dying be any different.
For my death I am expecting it to go violently, but if God has chosen me to die in my sleep than so well.
God bless Lisa.
I don't like hearing comments that she was "distracted" because of the camera. I bet the 'cameraman' feels terrible already. She was getting filmed all the time. But why did the camera person film her handing the coke thingy to the back...like why are u taping that like it was expected or something?
Agree with Ladytee she was on a spritual mission & for whoever think her family didn't have the tape first your wrong watch the "rocdoc"special it shows ALL of the footage she was making in from day 1 in the documentry
for the world to see(No one else had the tape but them). She also felt like sprits were chasing her and just a few nights b4 she passed the van she was riding in killed alittle boy with THE SAME LAST NAME AS HERS. She didn't just go over to Hounduras she had acually been traveling there for years and met a wonderful doctor by the name of Dr.Sebi who taught her how to cleanse herself. Sometimes in life god allows us to seek a journey to find our Destiny and she did-However she got to share her last moments with the world -not something you get to see everyday. As four or so years have gone by her family probably was at peace with her death that's why the footage has now been released they know that's probably what she would have wanted.
Just think most of the time when we loose someone we love we may wonder what there last moments were like and that's it in her case her family got to see now there's something for u to think about.
JMD580 YOU COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTEI WAS TELLING SOMEONE IN MY FAMILY THE SAME EXACT THING SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS LIKE IN AN OUTERBODY EXPEIRIENCE
SHE WASN'T TALKING VERY CALM SHE DIDN'T EVEN SEEM LIKE SHE WAS THERE GOD HAD ALREADY CAME DOWN WITH ARMS OPEN WIDE.
SHE BECAME WHO SHE WAS
SO WE CAN KNOW NOW
I had recorded the doc and watched it for the first time last night. I have always really liked her and I had a new respect for her after I saw the doc. Just a really GOOD person who got through her troubles the best way she knew how. As MsAzzri says, a beautiful soul.
why are people saying the video is disrespectful and unneccessary? MTO didn't make the video or steal it. the video is actually in the last 10-15 minutes of her documentary which has already aired like 5 times on VH1. if her family thought it was a bad idea, they wouldn't have released the tape. it's not like they actually showed how she looked after the accident, they just showed that last seconds that her own camera caught. i find the documentary very sad and it does give an erie feeling at the end. you just almost know something is about to happen. i still find it hard to believe that she's gone after all these years.
Seatbelts!!! No seatbelts...! We see it time and time again... The death count could have been higher. I miss Lisa, she was trying to get her life back on track. This is sad. The way her right arm moved suddenly it was as if something either swerved in front of her truck, or jumped out in the road to cause her to over correct the vehicle.
You can tell she was distracted. Just before she loses control, she's handing someone that coke can in the back seat. This is why people don't need to bother the driver at all when he/she is driving; especially speeding. I told my children not to ask me to look at anything while I'm driving. It only takes a split second.
I don't know who even gave this to YouTube but perhaps we can all learn from Lisa's and Princess Diana's deaths. I have vigiliantly worn my seatbelt since Diana's death.
watching the film and looking at her eyes, it looks as though she committed suicide . she was very distraught after the little boy died.
after she handed the girl her red book, she looks as though she decided toend it.
she kept talking about being chased by spirits.SHE DECIDED TO END IT.
RIP lisa, we all love you, this is some really sad story, she was an intelligent misunderstood but creative individual. I dint realise a tape was out, i wonder who put it there? also i remember the pics of her in the casket with her p'js too...i dont know why people want to put up pics of dead people on the net..they shuld start respecting and leaving them, RIP beautiful girl your sadly missed, but we will continue to celebrate your life xxx
A truck stopped suddenly in front of her vehicle and she swerved trying to avoid hitting the truck. If you look at the clip you can hear the tires of the other vehiclebefore she swerved She was driving a bit fast. Very Sad she will be missed. Her Birthday is tomorrow.
suicide? come on now! even if she was thinking about that, i very seriously doubt that she would want to take her sister and all the other people that were in her car with her. if she wanted to commit suicide she would've done it when she was alone.
I agree with you starquality...I don't think she would put harms way in other folks lives...it was a tragic accident.
Man I watched the documentary last night. It was very insightful...helped explained her pain and what she went through. I have a new found respect for Left Eye...she just wanted to be free that's all...and now she is....I'm sure God has a great plan for her. RIP Miss Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.
The person who done this documentary was given "permission" from her family to air this. The family gave the journal she filmed to the person who aired it. So the family did give permission to air this. I can understand why people would think that this was disrespectful..but if the family wanted this...then hey...what can we say about it? Nothing! I watched it myself and I felt bad that we all judged her wrong. She was human just like any of us and she made a few mistakes but she also turned her life around. It's just so unfortunate that she had to die the way she did and at such a young age..especially when she was turning her life around. RIP to her and God Bless her family and we should all be thankful we got a chance to see her last days. We all loved her...
please understand, whether she was MARTYRED, or she happened to go by God's natural graces. she was exposing america, especially black america, to dr. sebi, healer of all diseases known to man. i've cured type 2 diabetes(easy) in a friend and passed a parasite as well as lost 60 pounds healthily following the principles i recieved in a couple hours watched. plus herb research i did on my own. thefigtreeonline.com is a good resource, showing his retreat and systems. as well as blackconsciousness.com, where they sell his videos. he will be lecturing at temple university in philadelphia, on aug 05, 2007, from 3pm-7pm in anderson hall on 1114 berks st.
thanks and bless
The "person" who aired the documentary was director Lauren Lazin who also was behind the direction for 2pac's 2003 documentary 'Tupac: Resurrection' Left Eye's family gave Lauren permission to air this for a reason. And just like somebody said above me, if her family thought negatively of the scene they never would of had it put into the documentary. And this isn't even the worst part because the Lopes family even said there was even more to her last minute scene, but they didn't air that because it showed her body laying next to the embankment and destroyed car.
dam i just seen her last moment tape it is disturbing because the people in the car was suprised she was going off the road wow im suprised the accident was not futher investigated as a suicide years later this tape is shown
That video showed a different point of view to the car accident she was not happy after all some celebrities deal
with problems the wrong way. After all it was a miracle for the survivors that was a terrrible accident that usually
no one survives they were blessed.
