: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Akon is facing serious legal trouble in Trinidad over the recent "dirty dancing" with a 14 year old girl. Over the weekend, we spoke to a high ranking law enforcement official who claims that Trinidad is "seriously looking into" charging Akon with a crime.
And according to the official, the decision to charge Akon will made be made as early as this week.

The girl is only 14, but how could Akon have known??? They should've have pre-arranged/pre-selected a female 18 or older to come up on stage to avoid a situation like this.

I totally disagree that both parties should have known better. I don't blame Akon one bit, was he suppose to stop the show and ask her age?? And why would he, she has tattoos and piercings, what 14 year old you know has a tattoo on their lower back? And besides the piercing and the tattoo, look how she is dressed. This is really unacceptable and I certainly don't think its the young ladies fault. I believe if anyone is at fault its the parents. I'm looking at this young lady and she is dressed like an adult, has tattos like an adult and seems to be "acting like an adult". Children do what you let them do. However, she was old enough to make a decision to get on that stage and act like she's grown and now she what? Should Akon check id's before he dances with a chick? Isn't security somewhat of a gatekeeper to keep situations like this from happening? Ultimately, it goes back to the parents...she *** have been there unsupervised.
I have a few comments to make regarding this situation:
#1) From these pictures this girl DOES NOT look 14 - and if she is - I blame her parents for letter her step out like this - you look like a ho, you act like a ho, therefore you get treated like a ho (It's not rocket science)
#2) To be perfectly honest the above pictures and the other pictures MTO posted of this girl looks to be like 2 different females (I mean looks like 2 different complexions, sizes, just 2 different girls) - what's up with that???
#3) Akon is ugly as hell anyway - what's up with him - is he on drugs or something - in the video he was acting like he was on speed or crack or something - and from the looks of his face - he's looking kind of crazy like he's on something?!!

I agree with QueenNisha about the little girl's tattoo. The fact remains that she had no business attending this concert, and her parens have bad parenting skills, because there's no way I would've even TRIED this as a 14 year old.. First of all..If she is 14 and I was a judge listening to this in the court; I would not put the blame all on the parents and I would focus on the girl. I am also not a fan of Akon's either. I am also not defending him either, but this 14 year old "little girl" does not look like she is 14 years old nor is she is acting like she is a grown woman. Still i think we miss the point that if he just would have stuck to singing and dancing with he own dancers then he would not have this problem instead of having a half time freak dance off. Most of these artists today live shows suck and show their lack of talents outside of the studio by singing with their voice tracks and they do things like this to blind you from their lack of skill in live performances so you think you saw a good show when actually you didn't! Akon will not be charged!! The reason I believe this is because the club where he was performing is an 18 and over club. so, anyone would assume every person in there is 18. It is the job of security to make sure all fake id's and person's that look underaged are checked properly.. My question is, why was this 14 year old girl at this grown man's concert without a chaperone, one of her parents, or a responsible adult? I have a 14 year old niece who has gone to many concerts but was always properly supervised. This young girl is packaged like she is a 21 year old woman!!! Going after Akon is pointless because he was just a perfomer at this club. The club is responsible for making sure everyone in the club is of age (NOT AKON), the club is responsible within the performing contract to tell Akon what is appropriate and not appropriate while performing in their club, which Akon then must sign before he even performs. The club did not do their job, the parents did not do their jobs and Akon was doing what they paid him to do. Hi guys just chcking back to read the new comments. Now to the person who said it's not the parents fault, why not. Whether she snuck out or not, parents have to control their kids. Did anyone see ATL, remember how the twins mom came and got their *** from the party, that would've been me and my mom. Parents if you can't control your kids, then why you think akon, schools or any other person will be able to control them? And also, alot of people like being brought on stage to dance w/a singer. Jagabat, I don't know what Trini's you know, but the ones I know LOVE for all kinds of people to come to that island. I went on vacation with a friend of mine down there and they treated her like a queen. All Trinis DO NOT HATE EVERYONE who is not from there. Alot of the older ones I met up with were very well traveled and Trinidad has alot of non Trinidadians moving there right now because the economy is doing pretty well. They are even building up condos for the influx of new inhabitants!

Jagabat I have lived there, visted during carnival and the off season. As you can see...i have yet to be kidnapped. lmao. And yes I used to stay right in the heart of LAVENTILLE! I know that mess is going on there but don't make it seem like the island has always been that way. I remember lots of nice peaceful times by waterfalls in the country, beach time with my fam and friends, and mmmmmmm doubles, pelouri, roti...omg, you bringing me back. You know what I don't understand is...why, did her parents let her get a huge back tattoo when she's just 14?
