: Eddie Murphy's brother Charlie may have unwittingly offered an explanation as to why Eddie is denying he's the father of Mel B's child. According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's loyal readers, Nia W, she and her girlfriends ran into Charlie outside a Chicago comedy last weekend. And that's where Charlie reportedly made a shocking revelation regarding the paternity of Mel B's baby. Here is an excerpt from Nia's email:
We saw Charlie Murphy this weekend at a comedy club called the Improv outside of Chicago ... When the show was over, everyone left the club at the same time and [my girlfriends and I] were walking kind of next to Charlie Murphy and his entourage. Well one of my girlfriends is having some baby daddy drama so we were all talking about how foul some men can be. Of course since we just came from a Charlie Murphy concert, Eddie [Murphy]'s name came up. Nobody said anything real bad about him, all we said was that he needs to step up and take care of his responsibilities. I guess we must have been talking too loud, cause all of a sudden Charlie Murphy turned and ran up on us like he was about to do something. He started yelling in our faces saying, "How are you so sure who the father is? Do you know either of them? What if I told you that Eddie had a vasectomy ... you'd feel real stupid then, wouldn't you." Let me tell you that when he said that everyone went quiet. I looked over at my girlfriend and I was like "what just happened?" Even the people he was with were looking around like, I can't believe that that [EXPLETIVE] just said that.

I'm surprised he didn't offer his services when Eddie first made that comment about not knowing whose baby it is until it comes out and has a blood test *lol* All this media attention they've brought to a very personal situation...they may as well just do it on Maury. With that said, all jokes aside the whole situation is pathetic. I think Eddie was wrong, but Scary needs to be more dignified about hers and just lay back until the truth comes out. Eddie hasnt been disrespectful to Mel in anyway, we dont know that he just flat out dumped her b/c of that! He didnt just flat out say "the bit.ch is lying, he said he wasnt sure and wait and see"!! And I dont blame him!

If that was the case or even a possibility Eddie would have never made the statement as though there was even a chance of it being his. MTO really... Whenever you all get a story from a reader how come they never come on their own post.. probably because you make that isht up to avoid the responsibility being on you if one of these celebs ever decided to take legal action... This story sounds really stupid. We don't know the entrie story of their relationship/breakup, only form her point of view, because Eddie refuses to talk about it. HOWEVER, he had an intimate relationship with that woman, which means there's a POSSIBILITY! THAT'S the point that so many people fail to realize, that he may not be the father, but because he slept with her, he can't just rule himself out like that. I don't believe he had a vasectomy, and how do walk "kind of next" to someone? Then they had to be takling extra loud for him to hear and "run up" on them. Where's the real stories at?????

i bet he looked gay when he was born that is why he was named charlie. The culture in America is why so many kids have no morals. poor baby, no one wanna be the dad, i just hope the baby momma take care of the kid and leave the piece of ishh alone because he doesn't deserve or know that a baby is a blessing.
The whole story is crazy. I dont know who the father is and obviously neither does Eddie. I think its a shame the way he put her out there like that. I know he wants to defend his honor and all but to go on television and put doubt in peoples mind about the paternity, that was just so insensitive. This man was seen everywhere with this woman, they were the talk of the town and he and his wife were going through the divorce and then all of a sudden he dumps her for Tracy (who is beautiful) but dam, the way he did it was not very honorable. he should have just said No Comment.
It's possible that the story is true, just not the way it all came about. Eddie already has five children, so it's not so far-fetched that he would have one, especially how he and his now ex-wife were obviously having problems. The part that i don't believe is how this whole thing started. Sounds like Nia and her friends were trying to catch the attention of Charlie or any of his entourage. When it became obvious they weren't interested, THAT'S when the conversation turned to Eddie. That's a bad picture of Charlie up there. I find him attractive. He's the bigger, darker, and finer Murphy brother IMHO.
The DNA test will prove everything stop jumping down her back...because if the truth be told Eddie is the father..I want to see everyone rant and rave about him being a low life father like the rest of these b&^%hes out here....Eddie you disgust me...you have money and you still don't know how to act! There are so many ways you could have addressed this situation to the public..matter of fact...this is none of our business...I guess you were high hoping that it would end like the Janice Dickson and Sylvester Stallon paternity suit! The bottom line on Eddie is this..He goes both ways... any gay man can tell you he's got that "look" no matter what people say about not being able to tell if someone is gay by looking at them..I just feel sorry for the women who are with him.
