This was nothing, everyone is right. But, I will say this: I damn sure am not wasting another dime on another Ashanti album because her last album was so trash I let my daughters play with the cd during their tea parties (made a nice shiny plate for her dolls cookie!) I was very disappointed too because I was a big fan of her first album, but everything after that?....not good. Nelly will probably do well, but I think I am getting sick of his sing-song rapping too....Wonder where that pic is from? Well first of all, I think they are a lovely couple, also I don't think neither one of them needs album sales to determine who's better than the other. Second, yes ashanti aint no top selling artist but, let's not forget that she did have two multi-platinum albums. Her last album was garbage but she still is gonna make her money regardless because she is an excellent writer and she does write all of her songs unlike all these other artists that has someone writing for them. So she'll be straight whether her album does good or not because she has those royalty checks rolling in. But one thing she can guarantee us is a hot #1 single, if she doesn't get great album sales at least we can expect a number 1 single. I wish her the best of luck I'm an ashanti fan and she does write good music..just no one cares I guess but me. |
