: There's been a TOOON of drama this season on the Real Housewives Of Atlanta. But a lot of the drama has been surrounding the newest member, Phaedra Parks.
You see, there's been some question as to WHAT the date of her conception was. The rest of the castmates think that the baby was conceived BEFORE her wedding to husband Apollo. And they suspect that Phadera is LYING about the conception date - because she and her family are DEVOUT CHRISTIANS.
Well MediaTakeOut.com spoke with an EXTREMELY reliable insider - one of Phaedra's family members, who helped EXPLAIN to us the REAL DEAL of what was going down.
The insider explained, "[Phaedra] had a difficult pregnancy. She nearly miscarried the child twice. Actually the day before she had the baby shower, she was admitted to the hospital, for bleeding."
And there's more. MediaTakeOut.com's insider continued, "Because of the difficult pregnancy there was talk [amongst the doctors and Phaedra] that she may have had to terminate the pregnancy [a late-term abortion] for health reasons. It can be done in the State of Georgia, but there's a huge stigma towards late term abortion. So she figured that it would be better to just move up the date so that if tragedy struck, she wouldn't have all of America scrutinizing her decision."
Luckily however, the pregnancy went off WITHOUT A HITCH and Phaedra and Apollo welcomed a beautiful BABY BOY into the world (FYI - the BIRTH show is on Sunday)

This chick is looney tunes. If she was having problems with her pregnancy then why the hell was she up doing that foolish dance at her baby shower? Why even do the show at all?? She should be on bed rest. I don't buy the "excuse". She may have had some difficulties, but I really think she got pregnant before she was married, and her family would have flipped out if they found out.

Yall sound like Phaedra. Being a mother and a healthcare professional all I can do is LOL. If she was bleeding and she got released there wasn't that big of an issue. Secondily if she was induced in fear of the babys health they wouldve opted C-section than risking her giving birth vaginally possibly causing more harm or even death to her or the baby...Yall can miss me with this one!

MTO this sound just as "silly" as Phaedra, That baby was sonceived before the marriage, that's a known fact. They sent this bootleg as story to Phaedra look good, There still is no valid reason for her not knowing her due date. You get the exact date on ur first ultrasound. The lies Phaedra says on the show just doesn't mke sense. "she should have practiced those lies". And BTW, how could she have almost had a miscarriage before her shower. She looked full term to me, 8 or 9 months. So therefore it would have not been called a miscarriage, it would have been preterm labor. Phaedra is a liar!

Think about it - she moved up the due date and then had to terminate her pregnancy, it would make her even FARTHER along i.e. LATER in her pregnancy. So if "late term" abortion is looked down on, how does making it appear that she is FARTHER along in her pregnancy, make that better?
Then if she had the kid, lying about it just made her look stupid. Lose either way. Makes no sense!

First of all I was admitted for bleeding when I was pregnant....and there is no way they are going to release you like that....they are going to keep you for observation for at least 24-48 hours and if you are having a difficult pregnancy it will be more like the 48 hr hold...and furthermore Phaedra seems like the dramatic type if she had a difficult pregnancy she would've just said look I don't know right now all I want is them to bring my baby into this world before I misscarry again or have to have a late term abortion....then the ladies would've fell back...LIES
This story is ***-ish!!!! The chic delivered b/c she was 9 *** months...period/point blank!!! Any mother, who has delivered a baby, knows the chic was lying just by her ridiculous conversation. Since when does a baby sitting on your bladder make you *** near bleed to death??? It makes you pee all the time!!! What sense does that make though? Why lie about the due date. She said on the show she was having complications.... so its better to lie about the due date than to say your going through a difficult pregnancy and to have all your friends and fellow christians pray for you? I'm telling you, the worse thing a person can do is sign on to a reality show because once that ish starts airing... It turns into an all out "Twitter War"... I don't know if the whole "miscarriage" statement is true Or she is so obbsessed with other peoples opinions of her, that she felt the need to go through exreme measures to get them off her back.. The other Housewife shows may be as superficial as the Atlanta one, but atleast most of those women have their own (especially Belvrey Hills)
That story is ***! Some women experience bleeding during pregnancy and it doesn't have nothing to do with a miscarriage. Secondly, a doctor would place a woman on bedrest before he would ever advise a her to terminate her pregnancy. I'm willing to bet any amount of money that that wasn't the case. Thirdly, the last 2 months of pregnancy is so important for the final developments of the baby. Only in very urgent cases would they take a baby pre-term. There is not a doctor on the planet that would induce labor because the baby is sitting on her bladder. My son sat on my bladder and siatic nerve the whole nine months. I couldn't walk, plus I had to pee a lot.
Just like NeNe said, if she got pregnant before marriage, SO WHAT! She don't want people to know she was having *** before marriage, but it's okay to be materialistic plus a lier? They think folks are stupid. But the problem is that people really believe that stupid azz story. smh

You guys @MTO are *** liars! Mr. Lue, the so called best OBGYN in ATLANTA according to Phaedra, says she is 40weeks pregnant when she has the baby. So Phaedra got knocked up before she got married and it was a *** gun wedding. Ka-pow! What the pastor say to that?!? Aint nothing was wrong with this heffa, she is just a *** lie, which almost makes sense since shes a lawyer. That baby probably aint his EITHA. She need to get off her holier than thou horse and face reality.
Phaedra's husband was just paroled May 2009. Six months into their courtship the two were married in November 2009. Their baby was born May 2010 (at 40 weeks-full term). Do the math. Plus Phaedra lied about meeting Apollo (her husband) in college. How's that possible when she is 38 and he's 30 or 31. Mmmmmmm???
I knew her *** was lyin because they would have put her on bedrest 1st and all babies sit on the bladder thats why preggos pee alot.. Duh!! The doctor said on air that she was 40 weeks--AND he said she was FULL TERM. I have had 3 babies, the first two were full-term and weighed 9lb 10oz and 8lb 5oz at birth; my last baby was TWO FULL MONTHS early and she weighed less than 5 pounds and was in the hospital for TWO WEEKS because her lungs weren’t fully developed. There is just NO way this baby was 2 or 3 months early!! And i am just amazed at how DUMB her MOTHER is; apparently she is applying the "willful suspension of disbelief" one usually applies when watching movies.
