They work long hours here, so thats why he is probably asleep. But Detroit cops dont really bother nobody unless its a major issue. They let most speeders & people that cut people off because they say its not a major,issue. As for leaving Detroit & driving to another city, my goodness watch out they creep out of the weirdest places & hide everywhere.

Detroit is a big city mostly black. They took the heartbeat, which was the auto plants job out.They had a crooked mayor, which jacked up the funding.The media only focus on the negative things. So yes it will be a less then desirable place to live for someone who is not from there. if you're from the D u already know what's good. U know sh*t is not all that bad... Get ready for the white flight... that is what the set up is...
I bet that all of you people that are commenting on how bad Detroit is, have never been here. Detroit is just like most big cities with high unemployment rates. But guess what, there is still a lot of good people here and beautiful homes and neighborhoods. We do not know the *** of why that cop was sleeping. Maybe he was on a break and needed a quick nap because he works so hard. But you know the real problem here is that someone from Detroit would not only take the picture, but then post it to the web. My thought are that if you do not like the city, try to make it better or leave.
...so the story is that he has 3 jobs and was pullin an extra *** for a friend. yes, its a detroit cop, in a cop car- and he was on the clock. but so far they havent decided to fire him because, well, here we really dont care. besides, its true cops dont mess with you (at all). here in Detroit, you worry about drug dealers, homeless and parking-meeter cops. the more cops sleep on the job, the smoother my day goes. and trust, hes not the first to sleep on the job
