@tuff-Tony, it's real easy to say he snitched and the proof is such a light sentence, but the fact of the matter is, when there's only u involved in ur case, the people to tell on kinda dwindles, and then even his judge said that he only agreed to that sentence as a trial to see if celebrities really can make a difference in society. But the judge also said if he ain't complete his community service that he was gon be locked up for that ten year stretch. So his sentence was cause his lawyer put both of they asses on the line, not cuz of snitching. |

GatorSity...all that you typed sounds good..but the only way a judge can play with mandatory sentences is if the prosecution makes a deal with the defendent..and the federal mandatory minimum for being caught with a silencer not in the commision of a violent crime or drug deal is 2 1/2 yrs to 5 yrs..for a person with NO felonious convictions..i know this for a fact. so that being the case..he gave somebody up to get that sentence..i'm not arguing the morality of making the choice to tell on somebody..i'm stating facts..if the judge would circumvent the mandatory minimum without the prosecutions agreeance they would have appealed it and won. |
