Contrary to popular belief and many gay families, parents should be the ones teaching them that this lifestyle exists. It's all around us. I've had to talk to my children about it because they heard the word "gay" at summer camp and came home inquiring about it. It is confusing to a child to comprehend why their classmate has two moms and/or two dads. Rosie O'Donnell said her oldest son has asked her a lot of questions and some were not well taken. No wonder Rosie started the gay cruises for families. Where else could these children understand this?
I believe in sex education in the schools but draw the line at teaching about the homosexual lifestyle. Would I teach a separate class to gay people? Sure, been there, done that. |

1. Homosexuality according to the Bible is a sin. But since fornication, lying, stealing, adultery, murder, covetousness and greed are also sins, most folks condone homosexuality because they are sinners themselves. Does that someone make all sinning ok? No, but it sure is convenient for those who are not interested in living a holy lifestyle.
2. People who set themselves up as a spiritual counselor for others have an inherent responsibility to be upstanding and non-hypocritical. If Mase is a pastor and also honeymoons as a law breaking homosexual, the above is not true of him.
3. The religion of Christianity as founded by Jesus Christ (whom only the thoroughly ignorant believe was an Anglican male) had it’s beginnings from the founding of the world as stated in scripture. The harmony of the Bible as well as prophecies that are being fulfilled to this day as well its teachings of love for neighbor, self, Christ and God makes it clear that the Bible is the word of God. Unfortunately, because of the influence of the Devil and man’s own desire to be independent we see fake Christians who make Jews and other heathens nauseous when even thinking of joining Christianity. Thankfully, Jesus made it very clear that the majority of people who profess to be Christians would be deceiving themselves so true believers and true followers of Christ are not discouraged by what they see.
4. For those who believe that Christianity is false and Islam is true, please remember that Islamic beliefs are largely founded on Christian beliefs except for the belief in Jesus as the Son of God and the belief that violence is an acceptable way to enforce ones views. I don’t mean to be black and white but when it comes to matters of spirituality I don’t know how much faith I would put in a religion that got most of its beliefs from another religion which it claims is false. I guess I won’t mention that Islam itself was infused from its beginning with pagan teachings and although Allah is supposedly another name for the true God (Yahweh) Allah apparently fathered children. Interesting.
P.S. - Teaching homosexuality or any other form of sexual perversions to children is disgusting. |
